Light Blue Ash Lidded Jar

This handmade lidded jar by Hamilton Williams showcases a flowing vertical texture that wraps around its soft, rounded form. The surface is glazed in a muted sky blue with soft pooling that highlights the ridges and reveals warm flashes of clay beneath. Each mark, each variation in tone, reflects the hands-on process of forming, trimming, carving, and high-fire glazing that gives this piece its quiet depth and presence.

This jar was part of our most recent Cone 10 reduction firing—a technique that brings out rich glaze variation and depth through controlled atmosphere and high temperature.
