Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, is a form of painting that involves a heated wax medium to which colored pigments have been added. She also incorporates resin features for detail, alcohol inks, and shellacs for life-like backgrounds with a touch of whimsy. This 6” x 6” pine block panel is ready to hang or will stand on its own.
