Artwork by Maggie Vandewalle. She was born and raised in Iowa City. After receiving a BFA in printmaking from the University of Iowa, she gravitated to watercolor, a medium she still uses today. While her subject matter may vary, the intent of her work remains the same; to elicit a smile or evoke a story.
