Big Ben Exploding Clock

This clock is one of the newest in Carol's "exploding clock' series. Like all Carol Louise Mayer clocks, it's the movement of the feather second--hand that gives this piece so much life and interest.

Carol Louise Mayer creates whimsical, one-of-a-kind clocks using a variety of found objects. Her playful designs range from Victorian teapots to industrial chic and rustic styles, each clock crafted to make time-keeping fun and unique. Inspired by her love of building, Carol’s clocks serve as both functional art and a reminder to appreciate every moment.

Carol's clocks are powered by one or two battery-operated quartz mechanisms. Larger clocks featuring pendulums may include a second mechanism for added functionality. The mechanisms are thoughtfully placed in a discreet area of the clock, allowing for easy access when changing the battery or resetting the time, ensuring convenience without compromising the artistic design.
